Installing the app
Storybook installs straight from the browser — no app store needed. Once it's on your home screen it opens full-screen, works offline, and keeps your place and bookmarks.
iPhone & iPad
- Open the app in Safari.
- Tap the Share button (the square with an up-arrow).
- Choose Add to Home Screen, then Add.
Android
- Open the app in Chrome.
- Tap the Install app banner when it appears — or open the ⋮ menu and choose Install app / Add to Home screen.
Desktop (Chrome / Edge)
- Open the app.
- Click the install icon in the address bar (a small monitor/▾), then Install.
Works offline. After your first visit, the app and the built-in story are cached — you can read on a plane, in a tunnel, anywhere. Books you write sync when you're back online.
Native app stores
A native iOS / Android build (via the App Store and Google Play) is on the roadmap. For now, installing from the browser gives you the same full-screen, offline experience.
